In this podcast, we’re going to talk about some fascinating data from the research of Dr. William Kaufman, M.D. He found that niacinamide in high doses is an effective remedy for ADD (attention deficit disorder) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).


Vitamin B3 is the precursor for NAD, which helps your cells extract energy from food. When you eat, the NAD molecule helps take the electrons from your food and turn them into ATP for energy.


Vitamin B3 helps your nerve cells get more energy. It may help decrease hyperactivity and increase focus at the same time!


Nutrient deficiencies can cause the brain and nervous system to become hyperexcited. Niacinamide is a water-soluble version of vitamin B3 that can help energize your neurons and effectively mitigate ADD or ADHD symptoms.


Because niacinamide is water-soluble, it doesn’t stay in the body long. This means you should take about 250 mg six to eight times per day. This can also be effective for ADD or ADHD in children.
